Jon Strider, a 5th generation, native Californian, began performing music in the (San Francisco) Bay Area, emerging with an artistic destiny shaped by the cultural upheavals and artistic revelations of the late 1960’s and early 1970’s.

In 1986 Jon took his craft to Los Angeles, California producing and creating music and songs and albums in his Pacific Songworks studio which was a part of Intermix, Inc.--a video and film production house. In this period he also logged time in Nashville, Austin and the Pacific Northwest.

Starting in 2001, love and music brought Strider repeatedly to Europe and Scandinavia. Since 2005 he has called Sweden his home.

As the father of a form of music described as "Rhythm & Folk", Strider has synthesized the rock, blues and acoustic worlds, a hybrid of storytelling, grooves and keen empathy.

December 2006 marked the release of Jon's 5th solo CD ‘WHITE WINGS' on New Sky Records. (Please go to 'listen' for details on CD releases.)

Spring 2008 marked the release of 'Meet theOfferingband' (12 song CD) on New Sky Records. Jon co-founded this group with Vera Renella in 2003.
